Kazuchika Okada vs Seiya Sanada

Seiya Sanada has the chance to be a breakout superstar, in my opinion. Physically he can do anything in the ring, and his wrestling and execution are razor sharp. Most importantly, he’s finally got a major league look. Gone is the silly Great Muta clone gimmick he had in TNA, and now he comes off as a badass biker who can be a future IWGP Heavyweight champ.
Kazuchika Okada had the crowd, but I really saw something in Sanada here. This was a stellar match, but some of you will have a hard time with the ridiculous spots like two piledrivers in a row (one of which was outside the ring) that didn’t even get a three count. Once upon a time in Memphis, that move was booked like a career killer. Now it’s a setup spot for a near fall. And there were more piledrivers to be had.
If you can get past that, you’ll enjoy this and hopefully it springboard Sanada into greater things.
